Our hiring process involves a detailed interview with the owners of the firm and this is what we look for:

-   Attitude: A very positive attitude in all matters is required.
-   Ability: We expect new hires to pass all state and national tests.
-   Availability: We look for reporters who are flexible and able to help us staff our many assignments. The more available you are able to make yourself, the more successful you will be with our firm.
-   Attention to Detail -  Court  reporting is a very precise profession requiring good work habits, being able to focus, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions.

Benefits include having an "employee" status versus being an independent contractor.  This includes benefits such as free office parking, medical insurance, life insurance, worker's comp insurance, and 401(k) plan participation.

We offer new hires one or more mentors to work with them if they are right out of school. If they are experienced reporters, we assign them to our most senior reporter for guidance and problem solving.
